We are working on a few projects for the community to be involved with, The first is an after school tutoring service. we aim to provide a service after school for about an hour and a half twice a week after school. This is aimed at children who are falling behind at school and who need a little help, this service will be provided by knowledgeable people with a police check , who can work one on one with your children, class sizes will be limited an an expression of interest is a plus so if you could fill out the expressions of interest form at the bottom of the page that will be a great help. We are organizing a crime prevention and fire safety day for the near future, on the day events will include bike identification, a crime safe talk from the police and a bush fire and home fire safety talk, we hope to have a representative form a security company will be presant talking about security options for your home and ways to keep it safe. a representative from the neighborhood watch will hopefully be attendance with the facilities for engraving and UV pen inscribing. now here's the fun part, we are setting up a tool library, now we have a mower you can hire for $10 for 48 hours(a deposit of $10 is required) and a fee of $5 per day if the machinery is returned after 48 hours. now we hope to get a lot of tools, and if you would like to become a member and get a discount please drop into our office and fill out a membership form an application fee applies, and we do require some form of id for security. |
